Itinerary
Morning: Arrive at Arusha and meet your guide at your hotel (own arrangement). After a brief introduction and safari briefing, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a journey of about 2 hours. Afternoon Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park: Upon arrival at the park, enjoy a game drive. Lake Manyara is famous for its diverse landscapes, including its soda lake, dense forests, and open grasslands. You will have the chance to spot elephants, flamingos, baboons, and, if you're lucky, the park's famous tree-climbing lions. Evening: After the game drive, you will check-in at your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Early Morning: After an early breakfast, depart from your lodge and head to the Ngorongoro Crater. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours. Morning Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater: Enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Garden of Eden." This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The crater is also known for its beautiful landscapes and stunning views. Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor or return to a lodge for lunch (depending on availability). Afternoon Drive to Serengeti National Park: After lunch, drive towards Serengeti National Park, approximately 3-4 hours away, passing through scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and open savannahs. Evening: Upon arrival at your Serengeti lodge or camp, check-in, freshen up, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in the Serengeti.
Early Morning Game Drive in Serengeti: After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, famous for its vast plains and incredible wildlife diversity. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move through the park. Midday Break: Return to your lodge or camp for a leisurely lunch. Afternoon Game Drive in Serengeti: In the afternoon, continue your exploration of the Serengeti, looking for predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Serengeti offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing, with the iconic African landscape as a backdrop. Evening: After a full day of game drives, enjoy a relaxing dinner at your lodge or camp, with a possible opportunity for an evening safari experience or a cultural activity.
Early Morning Drive to Tarangire National Park: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, which is approximately a 4-hour drive from Serengeti. Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Morning Game Drive in Tarangire: Upon arrival at Tarangire, embark on a game drive. Tarangire is a haven for wildlife, especially during the dry season when animals converge around the Tarangire River. You can expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various bird species. Lunch: Enjoy lunch either at a lodge within the park or as a picnic in a scenic spot. Afternoon Game Drive: After lunch, enjoy another game drive in Tarangire before heading back towards Arusha. Evening: In the late afternoon, you will begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving by evening. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward travel.
